OUR SEWING STUDIO
Hello! If you’re on this page, I can guarantee you’re a special woman — someone who cares about Lithuanian fashion and supports local makers like us. Here you’ll find a photo gallery and a short story: “How our pieces are made.”
We — Ernesta and Adas — together with the entire cutmyfashion team of 15 people, create and work in our professional sewing studio. We’re based at Švitrigailos g. 27, Vilnius. This is where the first ideas are born — and where your garment comes to life.
With every day, we keep improving and aiming higher in our family business. So we’d like to briefly share how we bring our ideas to reality.
Creating a garment is a long process where every detail matters to us. So how are our cutmyfashion pieces made?
Idea
Of course — this is the very first and one of the most important steps.
Everything starts with a blank sheet of white paper: you sketch, you don’t like it, you crumple it up and throw it away. Then you start again… until we finally find the design that feels right.
Patterns
Technical drawings (patterns)
In simple terms, patterns are a garment’s blueprint with all precise measurements. It’s an extremely detailed, skill-heavy process that requires a lot of accuracy and competence. Getting the base size right is crucial, which is why at this stage we work with external partners who have the right tools and extensive experience. It’s our investment in true professionalism.
Fabrics
Fabric selection & testing. When creating a new garment, we usually try more than one fabric before we find the one that fits the model best.
Sample sewing & fittings
Most often, a new piece doesn’t come out exactly the way we want on the first try — so this stage includes continuous pattern adjustments and improvements.
Once the necessary corrections are made, the next step is grading the pattern from XS to XXL and sewing samples in every size. After that, we always try to test each size on different body types (usually within our close circle). This part is incredibly important — we want everyone to feel comfortable and confident in our clothing.
Seeing the garment on real people helps us refine the fit, understand what works best, and improve any details before production.
Production
After all these stages — and once every necessary adjustment has been made — we approve the final version and move into full production.
This process involves a huge amount of hands-on work. So if you’re someone who loves individuality (and I’m sure you are) and you don’t like running into someone wearing the exact same outfit, we invite you to follow us and become part of our mission.
We may be small in a world of big brands, but that’s exactly what makes us unique — and it also means the chances of meeting someone in the same cutmyfashion piece are very low.

CURRENT STUDIO
Our newest sewing studio is located at Švitrigailos g. 27, Vilnius, and spans 420 m². We’ve only recently moved into this modern space, so we invite you to stop by and experience cutmyfashion style up close.
In our studio, you can see and try on our garments in person — and if you’re curious enough, you can also get a glimpse of the production process behind them.
Plus, if you place an order online, you can choose free pick-up from our studio at a time that’s convenient for you.
And finally: if you’ve purchased one of our pieces — or you’re planning to — we’re truly happy. Our mission is lasting value, so we don’t create one-season items or designs that wear out quickly. Thank you for supporting Lithuanian business.
