Product Care (Rules)

COMFORT AND NATURALNESS REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE

Linen fabric has excellent wear and durability properties. It is breathable, easily adapts to body temperature (keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer), and absorbs moisture and sweat very well. Moreover, it is even 3 times stronger and 5 times more resistant to abrasion than cotton!

Undoubtedly, it is eco-friendly, extremely natural, and safe for people with sensitive skin.

However, to preserve the authentic qualities of this fabric, its care requires especially delicate attention.

CARE FOR OUR PRODUCT’S FABRIC (RULES)

WASHING

The garment can be washed by hand or in a washing machine. If you wash in a machine, use a gentle programme suitable for delicate fabrics (otherwise, fabric damage may occur). To avoid such situations, we recommend choosing a gentler washing method — by hand.

Please note that for the first few washes, linen should be washed in water no higher than 30°C (later — 40°C), using a non-bleaching detergent (best — liquid soap). We do not recommend using chlorine-based bleaches.

Before washing, always fully unfold the garment. Do not wash fabric that is twisted or otherwise folded.

During the first wash, the product should be washed separately from other garments. During subsequent washes, it can be washed together with other garments of similar colours. The only exception is dark-coloured fabrics.

After washing, rinse the garment thoroughly and dry it according to the further advice below.

DRYING

The product can be dried either naturally or in a tumble dryer on a gentle drying setting at a low temperature. When drying this way, remove the garment while it is not yet completely dry.

However, we recommend choosing natural drying and, if possible, drying the garment laid flat or hung. If drying hung, it is very important to take it down in time and avoid drying in the sun so it does not over-dry. Otherwise, the fabric will crease excessively and will be very difficult to iron.

IRONING

One of the main and also most beautiful qualities of linen, reflecting the fabric’s authenticity and quality, is its natural wrinkling. Therefore, we do not recommend ironing the garment.

However, if you decide to iron, do so on the reverse side and iron the fabric while it is still slightly damp. In this case, it will not only iron out better but will also retain its good qualities.

Use only a steam iron and an ironing setting intended for delicate fabrics.

STAIN REMOVAL

To remove stains from linen fabric, wash the garment on a gentle cycle in water no higher than 40°C. When washing in a machine, it is very important not to overload the washing machine drum so that the garment can move freely.
